Oracle Certification Recommendations

All,

I've just started working towards my Oracle8 certification. I'm reading the "Oracle8 Certified Professional: DBA Certification Guide" by Jason S. Couchman. In the book it recommends downloadng the practice tests before attempting the real tests. Is this a good idea? Does it really help. Just wondering if anyone out there passed the OCP tests using the book mentioned above? (without the practice tests?)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!
