I never installed Oracle Names server on NT, but on Sun box it was saved into /export/home/oracle/product/8.1.6/network/admin directory. I was able to load my tnsnames.ora database instances into the schema, but still can't connect to any database from my client workstation using ONAMES method. I can connect to the databases when i'm logged right into that Unix box using ONAMES, but not from the client. Anyone knows what could be the problem?
