Hi,


i have installed Oracle 8i on a Sun Sparc Solaris 7 and configured it with
automatic startup/shutdown for db. After a few time, the script seem to stop
to work fine and the db not start.


Many many change and i tried to delete the redirection of i/o channel from
inittab (in rc.x lines) to view in a clear file the output log: so, now the
script work fine!. Just without the redirection in the system log! Any idea?
