installation problems Oracle 8.1.5 EE on AIX 4.3.3.0

We have problems installing 8.1.5 EE on AIX. When invoking the OUI everything seems to work fine but the message >link pending< is always displayed.
When it comes to linking there are error-messages indicating that files are missing on our freshly installed AIX-Machine. Examples of missing files are
>/bin/as< (Assembler) and >/usr/ccs/bin/make.
When i copied older versions of these files from another AIX and clicked on the Retry-Button the installation went on but later came an error, where i could not find the reason.

Anyone an idea?

Is it Oracle´s or IBM´s fault?
