I have read that Oracle offers their products on-line at the Oracle
store. You should be able to find the Oracle store via the main Oracle
site www.oracle.com.
Back when we bought Oracle in '95 we went through a salesman and Oracle was priced based on concurrent users or named users. I heard at my job via management that Oracle is now sold two ways: by size of machine, i.e., X dollars per megahertz or you could still buy via concurrent users. I say a post that listed $5.50 per megahertz for the standard edition and $100 per megahertz for the Enterprise edition, but I do not know if that was correct.
