Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Oracle8 performance problems under NT
I should have made this clear in my original posting but we're not using ODBC. We use OCI for Oracle and Open Network (or whatever the heck they call it) for SQL Server. So in both cases, we're using the database's native call interfaces.
Here is a sample from the SQL trace:
SELECT CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_Key, CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_ID,
CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_Name,
CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_Description, CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Sequence

CNTADM.Hry_PROJECT1,CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE WHERE
CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_ID=CNTADM.Hry_PROJECT1.PRODUCTLINE AND CNTADM.Hry_PROJECT1.Member_Key=94516 ORDER BY CNTADM.Lev_PRODUCTLINE.Member_ID call count cpu elapsed disk query currentrows
