ORA-00942: Table or View does not exist????

I get this error even after a tableowner gives insert,select, delete
permissions to other users, (even PUBLIC). 



Other users can't even see the table. What could be wrong?



I am using Oracle 8.1.6 on NT.



PLEASE HELP!!!
