Re: Manual Switch of Logfile

I never thought that either of these two commands would return control before the archive log file was written. In fact, I'm depending on the fact that "ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE" won't.

How can I find out for sure?????? Now you have me worried!!!
