It took me 3 days to download OAS. And then the server was so slow that the 109 mb download took about 4 hours. Normally, on my DSL line it would take about 15 minutes for 100 mb. I finally got it around 3 am when I couldn't sleep one night. I think it was on a Sunday morning. The problem is not Netscape or your browser; the problem is that Technet appears to power their download service with a used 486. I know they have a lot of people hitting the server, but it sure gives a lousy impression of their ability to handle e-commerce. I've had to convince more than one CIO that the speed of Technet has nothing to do with the capabilities of Oracle's products.

Downloading from Technet has basically been impossible for anything over 20 mb for about 3 months now.
