I'm on AIX 4.2, migrating from Oracle 7.3.4.0 to 8.0.6.0. I have been migrating a test DB, I used the migration commandline utility, everything worked ok and have finished the general migration steps in Oracle Note 47290.1. The question is, I have some views which will not compile and am wondering what they are for. Below is a partial list:
ALL_ADMINCATLOG ALL_ADMINMASTERS ALL_ADMINOBJECTS ALL_ADMINREGSNAPS ALL_ADMINRESOLUTION ALL_ADMINSCHEMAS DBA_ADMINCATLOG DBA_ADMINDEFERROR DBA_ADMINDEFTRAN DBA_ADMINMASTERS DBA_ADMINOBJECTS DBA_ADMINREGSNAPS DBA_ADMINRESOLUTION DBA_ADMINSCHEMAS
Replication was loaded on the 7.3.4.0 instance, but, was never used. I ran the catrepr.sql Oracle8 script, it removed some other packages that were not being compiled. I am wondering if these views are related to replication. Does anyone know what they are for?
TIA
Toby T.
