Both the html and pdf versions of the documentation for ver 7.3 and 8.0 have indexes. Though I will admit that I did not realize that the html had an index for some time since it is a small highlighted word on the contents page rather than a normal entry like it is in the pdf versions which in my opinion are earier to navigate and also print much nicer.
