Yes, SQL Power tools claims of superiority over other tools are OTT and not all substantiated, but it IS true that they are zero impact. The product works by analysing the network packets to/from the client or server. It does this on a separate box - the network must be configured such that it can see all the packets (i.e. via a SPAN port in a switched environment). It is zero impact and requires no changes to client or server.
Your repudiation of their points is just as OTT as their points themselves.
