Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Removing Oracle versions from Solaris
I'm running a 7.3.4.4 server on Solaris 2.6. I've used an OFA structured directory tree, so my software is installed on /u01/apps/oracle/product/7.3.4
I also have .../product/7.3.3.0 and /8.0.5 installed, but I don't need those versions on this server and am not running any databases with that software. Are there any gotchas to removing those other versions? Can I simply delete those subdirectories or is there a more graceful uninstall.
Thanks for any input.
