Oracle JVM

I am running Oracle 8i version 8.1.6 on AIX 4.3.3. When I try to create the Java Virtual Machine, Oracle generates core dumps.

Has anybody done this before ?

I have been able to configure JVM on 8i version 8.1.5 on Windows NT. But my attempts at doing the same on AIX have failed so far.

I'd appreciate if somebody can share some insight into where things could be going wrong here. I've heard that IBM has been having problems implementing Java in AIX. Is that true ?
