Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Oracle 8.1.5 is acting weird
Hi,
Sorry guys for the lousy non-descriptive error. The ORACLE database
that I am working on has started acting pretty strange in a flash. I
use TOAD to monitor user sessions and look at sql statements. Before
the problem I could see what the user executed, right now I couldnot
even see what's been happening with that particular user. It comes up
as blank and I am seeing consistent increases in physical reads with no
results. Any ideas to what's happening ? Did anyone see such a case ? I
am using Oracle 8.1.5 on Solaris 2.7. The user is used by a third party
tool and the third party tool is pretty slow since this started
happening. Any pointers or indicators are welcome.
