Re: Oracle 8i support for entity beans?

Currently using Oracle 8i (8.1.6) as an EJB server. It seems to have a mostly complete implementation of the EJB1.0 spec., but isn't very stable in terms of EJBs. In fact we decided today to find a different application server to support our EJBs because of all the problems we are having (and the number of TARs we have outstanding with Oracle). I don't know when Entity beans will be available, and I'd be nervous to pin the success of a project on their first implementation.
