Tool for applying SQL scripts required

Iam looking for a tool to execute SQL scripts that are stored in a text file
but with the ability to stop if a statement fails, so I can adjust the code,
grant a privilege, (that sort of thing) and then restart from the statement
that failed with all activity logged.



Any ideas?
