Oracle's Transperant Gateway for SQL-Server. It was (I think) a free product a while back. Or at least you could get a free trial version.

In essence, you set up an Oracle "database" which is just another logical Oracle database (from an Oracle client perspective). It in turns runs on/via the physical SQL-Server db engine.

Oracle also has gateways for Informix and a few other database systems.
