I use the DBArtisian product because I work in a shop where we have Oracle,
Sybase, MS SQL Server and DB2 Universal, this tool allows  you to have a
single interface to all.  It will allow you to do most dba functions, but
always (I do mean always) preview the sql prior to execution.  This is a bit
easier than using different tools from different vendors.

*It's a nice gui front end, but I still prefer the command line to remember
the syntax.

It works pretty well.   I have not used the Er/Studio.
