RMAN woes

Server A has an 2.0.4 intelligent agent and 8.1.5 database installed. Server B has OEM 2.0.4 and the recovery catalog.

Submitting a simple RMAN job (resync) through OEM to run against server A works if I execute it immediately. If I schedule it for some time in the future it doesn't get executed. Looking at oratclsh utility on A, I can see the job in the agent and the parameters appear correct - it just doesn't execute.

Submitting the same RMAN job through OEM to run against server B works fine whether the job executes immediately or at some time in the future.

RMAN and SYSMAN have logon as batch job permission and administrator rights on both servers. The clock is set properly on both servers. I've tried rediscovering the nodes, resetting preferred credentials, blowing away all intelligent agent files and checking tnsnames.ora, listener.ora and initSID.ora.

   Any other ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Van
