I need to automate some routine cold backup process on my Oracle 7.3 on NT but it seems to lack alot of tools for me to use. In Unix, I can kill off connections by ps, grep, cut and kill, shutdown/start database by dbshut/dbstart and etc. But in NT, I can't do all that. not even a native cron program.
Can anyone please show me just how to do a cold backup for my database properly. Thanks in advance.
