About the mounting points:
- you could re-partition your single disk drive into
partitions /u01, /u02, etc (or whatever you want to call them)
this would be the best way to start, in my opinion.
- these different mounting points are for a OFA installation, if you
don't want to follow OFA, you don't need it, you can install it
anywhere (don't take it as a recomendation)
- if you don't want to spend time repartitioning, you can pick your
biggest directory and instead of mounting points, create directories
u01, u02, etc
You don't need 1.5GB for the software, 600 MB is more than enough.
