I spoke to EMC recently, their minimum disk size is 18Gig, which generally sucks for any OLTP database, I have problems with 9Gig disks, and they were talking about : "soon we'll be able to use 72Gig disks, 144Gig disks, etc"... who gives a f***. I am happy with Sun 5200 for now, and don't need some expensive solutions which I'll have to utilize only by about 50% to get some decent performance.
