Snapshots and indexes

Hi,


We have a snapshot from a local Oracle 8 to a remote Oracle 8 that
uses fast refreshes (a refresh group goes every half hour).



Is it possible to create an index on this local snapshot table?  Are
there any gotcha's to doing this?
