After noticing your reply, I went to http://oraclestore.oracle.com. You were right - all the new pricing is based upon their 'power units' scheme. Nasty. So much for the benefits of a powerful server - it will apparently just cost more in the end. Fortunately, my dealings with Oracle were renewals, and there was no mention of this new scheme. I'm now fearing the renewals next year..... :)
