Anybody installed o8i and oas4.0.8.1 in RHAT6.1 ...please help

I was able to install o8i and oas4.0.8.1 in RHAT6.1.

o8i Ok
oas4.0.8.1 ... able to bring up all services and

                                all listeners(admin & www)
                                    default port #
                     able to create application and cartridge
       http://host/application/cartridge/procedure1
         generated  "APLICATION ERROR,  Please try again"

Please advice what to look for....
