Hey Brad,

I'm not an Oracle expert by any stretch - but anything compiled for SPARC will _not_ be compatible with Intel, sorry. As for getting 8i EE on CD, I was under the impression that you could order one for very little from technet - is this not the case?

Btw - I've gotten 8i to work for Linux after much help from this news group - in particular the web sites a few of the contributors have set up. It is possible, that's all I'm sayin'. :-)
