Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Net8 Assistant on NT doesn't launch
When I try to start the Net8 Assistant through the Start menu nothing
happens (no window appears). I've seen postings in Deja saying this is
related to Java on NT and the colour setting of the display. There was a
SP3-postfix for this problem.
But I'm using NT4 SP6 and tried all possible colour settings (256, 65536) with no luck. Any ideas?
The Oracle Installer says I have the Net8 Products 8.1.5.0.0 and JRE 1.1.7. The JRE 1.2 is also on my machine at other places.
