help!
we have two oracle web servers 3.0.2 talking to one big oracle db using a loadbalancer to distribute web requests between the two. periodically my web servers stop responding. checking top I see one or two oraweb processes taking nearly 25% of system time. 4 processor machine means that it is just pegging out the cpu and somehow not allowing the other oraweb processes to respond either. it seems to be getting worse (or maybe I am just monitoring more closely) does anybody have any ideas where to begin looking? the db seems fine, humming along w/o a glitch. if I kill -9 (solaris 2.6)the runaway process it spawns another and everything runs fine for awhile. sometimes if i let it sit it will come back and sometimes it won't. it is a production system and I can't afford for it to be dying like this
please help.
thanx
