recovering tablespace room

I have learned, as a new Oracle user/dba that you should get stuff out of the system tablespace, and read many of your very helpful posts about how to do this.

My question now is- my System tablespace file is huge. How can I shrink this, preferably without re-installing the database? I have a big (2 million row +) table that I moved to the 'users' tablespace and want to clear from SYSTEM.

Thanks. Received on Tue Feb 08 2000 - 16:43:02 CST
