Re: Listener Problem on Redhat 5.2

It sounds like the first place to look would be tnsnames.ora on the client, then listener.ora on the server. Possibly a typo or missing parenthesis. If you're using a "service name" parameter try replacing it with a "sid" parameter to see if that is the problem.
