I'll try and help where I can, but the trouble is that I'm not sure Oracle would be receptive here anyway. You see I'm viewing Oracle 8 here as the legacy system which is having to be updated by a push subscription from a SQL Server 7 system. I am not surprised it doesn't work, but whose fault it is? Well I wouldn't like to put money on it. I'd like to blame Oracle, but that isn't going to solve anything, and I've got to have an answer.
I'll try the MSFT people, they might know what's happening.
