Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Datafile stuck in Recover status
Hello,
I lost a datafile(happens to be in TEMP TS). It currently has a status of
RECOVER.
When I do a "Alter databse datafile .. offline drop" it says "Statement
Processed" but it still shows up in V$DATAFILES and processes that uses a
lot of TEMP space try allocating from this file, resulting in an error. How
else can I get Oracle to forget about this file?
