I'm sure NP will give you more details, but this is my experience on
some of the building blocks that go towards Eureka.
From the last presentation Sterling gave us I was obvious that there is no web-based cube viewer - NP confirmed this. Cube transfer was achieved via IBrowser standard download interface. This forces cube management by folder and therefore less flexible security etc.
The report writer is similar in interface to Seagate Crystal - I personally find it irritating to use - far worse than Business Objects. It does however have a web interface as well.
IMHO, Eureka as an intranet/internet portal seems to be quite good - I was vaguely impressed (by the presentation at least). The BI side I am less than impressed with.
Try looking at Sterling (SSW) against Cognos (COGN) and Business Objects (BOBJ) at MSN's Money Central - interesting results.
