That's rather strange -
The symptoms are like an Oracle
'soft corruption' error, but the 1115
error is, I believe, supposed to be
a hard operating system error.
I wonder if there is an arithmetic bug
somewhere that is somehow pointing
block 2048 completely out of the file system ?
(2048 is such a suspicious number).
Can you make any of the other files
exhibit the same problem at block 2048 ?
Does the problem occur persistently
or intermittently ?
