oracle 8.1.5 ee install help!!

I am trying to install oracle 8.1.5 ee on my RedHat 6.1. I have jre installed and a link to /usr/local/jre. Every time I run the installer, I get a message telling me that the OUI failed to initialize. Can anyone help me out please!?!?
