Urgent: Error starting svrmgrl and DB

Hi,

we've a problem starting a DB V7.3.4.2. on HP-UX 10.20.

svrmgrl signals following error message:

        Message 4504 not found; No message file for product=SVRMGR, facility=MGR

and if I try to connect internal it's wants a password, but this was never before.

Any help would be appreciated.
