Re: could not start "oracleservice" as well as the oracle enterprise manager

Hi

check where the service is started by using

net start command from ms-dos prompt.

if you do not see

OracleService(SID)
OracleStart(SID)

then issue followings
net start Oraclestart(SID) and
net start OracleService(SID)

if any error occurs while starting the service then I will guess there
are some part missing during installation. HTH
