A while back I posted a request for help with getting the oracle installer
to start. After issuing the ./orainst command, it just seemed to hang until
I killed the session. A very knowledgeable person who used the handle
"oracle"
sent me an email message which listed two processes which need to be running
in order for the installer to run. Now I want to run the installer again
but I lost the
information about which two additonal processes need to be started. The
last
time I ran the installer, starting these two processes was exactly the fix.
