Re: ORA-01096: program version (8.1.5.0.1)

The error message sounded to me too, like the database needed to be
created under the patched Oracle. I tried deleting the Database and
recreating it under 8.1.5.0.1, but still get the same ORA-01096 error. I
also went to the sqlplus/lib directory under ORACLE_HOME and tried a
'make -f ins_sqlplus.mk' but that failed with errors. I'm suspicious of
the zero-size env_sqlplus.mk file in this directory that is included in
ins_sqlplus.mk.
