I want to create a names server on my database machine, I wish to use
ONAMES. When I create the a namesvr and then try to start it I get the
following error messages:


TNS-12560:TNS:Protocal Adapter Error.


TNS-00530:Protocal Adapter Error.



Could anyone point me in the right direction to look for possible causes. I
have checked to see that Listener is started (it is), I have a service
created and profile (preferred server).



Any ideas ???
