I've noticed that Oracle8 (specifically 8.1.5) has a much larger footprint on my AIX system than Oracle7 ever did. There appears to be many of the same program existing on my system. For example, exp and expO both appear to be functionally equivalent. The same can be said for Oracle and OracleO, as well as svrmgrl/svrmgrlO, tkprof/tkprofO, etc.

Anyone have any idea what the *O and *0 versions of these programs are for? Received on Mon Nov 15 1999 - 15:21:25 CST
