The biggest problem I've encountered so far with Intermedia is the time it
takes to generate a marked up document ready for display. Some of my HTML
files are >100K but it can take the MARKUP procedure 15 seconds or longer to
generate the document with highlights on a 450 MHz NT box. The HIGHLIGHT
procedure is equally slow. I've played with extent sizes and so forth but
nothing seems to make the slightest difference. Is anyone else having this
problem? Are there any solutions? This sort of performance is completely
unacceptable.
