Sorry,

forgot to add all the necessary information:
OS is AIX, version 4.3.2 and the user is oracle7.
I do have permission on the directory because the directory already
exists
when the installer stops with the mentioned error message and I can
easily
create a file manually in this directory!
Any other suggestions?
