Re: How do you do noarchivelog mode RMAN backup?

Your target db has to be in a mount state. RMAN must be able to read and perform sync with the control file(s). Once you have your target up in mount state, the backup is just like a archivelog mode backup, with the exception that you are not concerned with archivelog files.
