A beginner question, "When I installing the Oracle 8 for linux....."

when i was install the oracle 8.0.5 for linux, installing the database object,
The installer is copyign the file from the cdrom to my harddisk. a error occur,

the following text is quoted from the install.log which i think the problem is occured here.

Entering Make Dependent section.
Entering do_relink==false section.
Leaving Make dependent section.
Entering database actions section.
Creating initORCL.ora file
Creating /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5/rdbms/log directory
Creating crdb2ORCL.sql database catalog and file creation script
ERROR: The 'CREATE DATABASE' statement for the ORCL database failed. egrep failed to find 'ORA-' error in the file: /u01/app/oracle/admin/ORCL/create/crdbORCL.lst
