Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> TNSListner on Sun Solaris
I'm trying to get TNS Listener to start up automatically with the
server. It's Oracle 8.0.5 on Sun Solaris 2.6 Server. I have it starting
up fine on another server, only differences being, its Oracle 7.3.3.
Here is my startup script in /etc/rc3.d:
/usr/bin/su - oracle -c
"/opt/app/oracle/product/8.0.5/rdbms/install/rdbms/start_listener.sh"
This is all one one line in the startup script. When booting, it does not start the listener, however when I do it manually as the oracle user, it starts fine.
What am I missing?
