The performance of the Microsoft ODBC driver to Oracle is really really terrible.

I would not attempt it.

For isntance, outer joins across multiple columns are mistranslated to Oracle, but not to SQL Server. This causes a query that shoudl return instantly to take 20-30 seconds if it's across a large (600k+) table.
