Correction to my Database Link post

Hi,
I misspoke when I posted the note indicating that a database link name need not be the same as the global name of the database to be linked to....In Version 7 of Oracle this was true, but, after using 8 for the first time, I discovered that in that version, the database link must be named the same as the global name...Sorry for any confusion ( or cursing) this may have caused...

( by the way, thanks, Oracle for making a simple task not so simple)
