ORA-27102 Out of memory after install

Like everyone else, I am getting the ORA-27102 out of memory error after the initial Oracle install.

I tried adding the kernal parameters per recommendation, except I set SHMMAX much lower, and I could no longer boot the server. I had to re- install Solaris.

The server has 1GB of RAM. Does anyone know what the recommended kernal settings are for 1GB ram?
